Hey everyone, lot's to talk about so buckle up!

Persona H has come under a lot of changes in the last few weeks, and I want to make sure you are all aware of what's happening.

First off, thanks to the discord and patreon community for helping me make this descision, and to everyone else that reaches out privately in email. It wasn't an easy choice to make, but I"m really excited with what it means for us.

Alright, Persona H is going to rebuilt from the ground up.

Why is this happening?

 Well, it is a long and rambly story but I will try to keep it short and concise. Persona H was origianlly created by me as a way of seeing if I oculd make an Adult Dating Sim. I also wasn't sure if I had any artistic capabilities of putting my vision together. As most of you know, I do the art and the programming myself, this caused lots of WONKY artwork throughout the game :D

I started Persona H on February 1st 2022, and (I have the receipts to prove it) I have worked on this game almost every single day from then on. As the months passed, the game started taking shape and actually becomming something of worth. I noticed  this, and others did too as they started to donate.

I became extremely grateful to all of you that donated, but I also became repsonsible now for all the work coming out. I felt like my engine didn't have enough to maintain what expectations were there. I decided to create more updates to mitigate this, but I don't think it was helping.

When working on that game, I was rebuilding my engine and ripping code out and replcaing it with better ideas. I started to see and Persona Adult Game here, a much better one than the one I had.

It was then that I hit  a crossroads. Do I keep working on what  jave, or rebuild and make the game I originally wanted to make. After a lot of consideration, I chose the latter. It's more work, will take longer but it will give out a much better quality project than what I have now.

What does this mean for Persona H as it is?

Persona H will remain free and available on all sites that it has been distributed. I will most likely update it with a another release at some point that explains  it's current status and that people can find a newer version of it somewhere else.

I do not plan on taking anything away from people, so it will remain as is. The new Persona H Golden (working title) will release seperately on itch, and may or may not have pay for features depending on some more descisions to make in the future.

What does this mean for me as a Patreon subscriber?

first off, if you are a patreon patron, thank you so much .You patronage has not been wasted and has helped out already so much with developement. I want you to know that I will be working hard on this next iteration to not dissapoint. I will be trying to rebuild the game in a way that pleases as many people as I can.  The patreon tiers may be shuffled around a bit in the near future, but I will make a seperate post about this later.
