Well here we are, ready to transition into the 0.8 Update cycle (Events/Interactions)!

0.8 is going to be a really cool set of updates for Persona H, it allows me to spread my dev wings a bit and not focus purely on just 1 girl. I'm able to go and work on seperate interactions within the game that I have always wanted to get done.

0.8.0 is the first step to these changes, it's something I needed to do for a long time now and that is upgrading the Inventory System. What this update does is create a new way of placing items into the palyer's inventroy, and then a new way of using those items absed on theire type and categories. 

Doing this allows me to change many features down the road easier, It was a must and I'm glad I had the time to do it.

Usually when recreating this kind of code, there is a moment where players must now choose between the old game and their new game. They usualyl have tor eset their progress completely. I'm happy to say that I worked hard on a script to transition old player saves over to the new system, and so far it seems to have worked with the random player saves I tested out. If for whatever reason this update remves items from your previous save game, please message me on discord and let me know. I will need to go over these from a case by case example.

I spent the majority of my time working on this Inventory update, so unfortunately there isn't as much to show off to you that is new. Although, I did work on a Discord voted outfit for Yukiko, Naoto and Marie. All of them now have the Goth look available, you just need to purchase it from Kanji's Clothes.

Bugs

 Visual Bug : Fixed when looking at girls page, their rank was 1 lower than it should have been. Rank 1 was 0 etc.

 Visual Bug : Fixed items x position issue in Kanjis store. Now items don't overlap onto each other.

 Visual Bug : Fixed an issue where "Blowjob" was coming up for a Naoto request sex scene.

Features

 - Created Scrolling text on menu to keep people up to date on news and things

 - Added dialog for Kanji And Yosuke when purchasing items at their stores.

 - Reworked buying mechanic at all stores for purchasing items to make it work with system.

 - Combined Equipment and Clothing into the new inventory system. These can now be viewed in the Items tab along with Inventory.

 - Implemented a new Inventory system, now every item is cataloged and has a ton of data associated with it.

 - Integrated a Transition script so old save files transfer over.

 - Reworked dresser functionality to make more sense when changing close at the Homebase.

 - Changed "Clothing" configuration when cahgning girls' clothes.

 - Changed Main Menu to reflect 0.8, and have changing girls on restart.

 - Added in some extra audio for Naoto and Aika.

 - Added logo to the Pop menu.

 - Designed a Gothic look for Marie

 - Designed a Gothic look for Yukiko

 - Designed a Gothic look for Naoto

 - Implemented all new gothic looks into Kanji's store, and the new inventory system.

And that's it for 0.8.0, Its nice to transition us over here now and into these new sets of updates. I think you are going to notice a lot of changes coming up for these updates, some of them are backend and others are frontend. It's going to be a lot of fun and I"m really excited to show off some of the crazier ideas I have!
