Hey all!

Hope your week is going well!

I have been working hard on Persona H, and some other side work that I have going on. As my mind fills up with a lot of content and ideas, I feel like I need to write stuff doww, otheriwse I would go crazy.

So what better forum then this palce right here! Lucky you, you get to read my crazy thoughts.

Anyway,

I have recently completed a (rough) Roadmap for Persona H that reflects what update cycle we are currently in, and where I want to go in the upcoming two update cycles. You will notice that the idea is to keeep update cycles ongoing, and neverending...

For now, most of you should be aware that we are in Naoto's update cycle. What this means is every update within this cycle is mostly focused on Naoto, although I try to round out other features to keep the gameplay flowing.

Going forward, these update cycles are going to change slightly, as their focus won't be competely on one girl but rather a concept.

When I first starting creating Persona H in February, I had a goal in mind to make sure every girl got their own update. This way I KNEW that no matter what, every girl was looked after in the same way and I wasn't playing favorites.

Now as the development has gone further, I'm at a point now where all the girls are ofiically dateable and within the game. This leaves me to be as creatives as I want. It's like finally buying all the lego sets and just now being able to create the wacky stuff you always dreamed of!

So with all that being said, the next update cycle 0.8 will be focused on Events. this is vague, I know, but It means that I can focus on the dates / Cellphone selfies / random encounters with girls. It also means I can spread my wings a bit and play around with some other features I'm not quite ready to share yet. Let's just say there will be more benefits available to those that compelte the storyline.

Moving forward, you amy notice the Yasogami High update, this is another thing I have planned for Persona H. It's no secret that a lot of Persona 4's storyline takes palce at Yasogami High. Therfore, I am obviously going to put it into my game. The way I'm going to do this is a little different than other locations though, and it will also bring more characters to the game. So I figured it will definitely be large enough to warrant it's own update cycle.

Once I have completed these, I will move on to newer updates that focus on others areas of the game I want to get to. I'm looking at you King's Game!

In Persona H related news, I have added a new thing I call "Community Unlocks".  This is a sort of Meta-game where you guys as a community unlock photos and scenes within the game. We recently hit 50 Patrons on Patreon and so I wanted to celebrate by unlocking a new photo within the iTed for everyone. It will be available in 0.7.5 for everyone to have, as a thank youto everyone!

There will be more community unlocks as I create the game, I already see another one getting close with our Discord!

In other related news, I have been working on a side-project game that is to be a patreon exclusive project. It is only for Patreons for now, but will eventually be available to the public here on itch for a small fee. If you  donate at a $3 tier or higher on Patron then you already have access to it. It is not a very large game, but it's intent is to be something that I can give back to my Patrons.

In other OTHER related news, I have begun the stroyboarding and stroy developement stage to anew game I'm working on. This game is not based on any IPs and is more in teh original territory. I say MORE in that territory because it is based the the Trojan War, but surprisingly enough it's still a NSFW dating game like Persona H. I will be developing this game further later on in the year, as my goal is to also work on a NSFW game that will one day release on Steam. I can't do this with Persona H, but with an original game I can!

So all in all, there is plenty of work for me to do. I would say 95% of my focus is on Persona H while the other 5 is looking at the side proejects. So don't worry about Persona H's development slowing down, If anything, working on side projects helps me figure out issues and code for Persona H as well. So it's all compounding!

Anyway, that is the end to my rant for now.
