0.5.4 is now released !

With this update, I have officially completed the Marie storyline to Persona H. She will be featured in the future for more content, but as far as her main story goes, this is complete in the game. 

Wow, this series of updates was a lot of fun, so much has happened since starting Marie's storyline. Our Discord community has grown so much,  I'm helping a buddydevelop another game, and my engine for creating Persona H has gone through some intense overhauling to withstand some newer and better content!

Marie's storyline ( I think) is one of teh better ones in the game and this is due to me doing a very quick outline beforehand. I felt a lot less like I was improvising and more like there was a  solid goal I was heading towards. I think this is just me slowly falling into how I actually want Persona H to develop.

Previously, while working on other characters, I hada  small sense of dread that I need to rush and get on to the main girls so that you the player would understand that I was trying to really make this seem like a true persona game. I'm not sure if my mind has changed, or if I actually have enough  characters available to be able to create the "scenes" I was hoping for. Either way, It's starting to feel more like how I imagined the writing and story development would feel. I'm really enjoying this progression and I hope to ride this all the way to the end!

I want to take a moment to thank the recent donations here on itch,  these are amazing contributions and I greatly appreciate it. All of these proceeds are going towards engine cost, licenses and upkeep for now. I also would like to thank the Patreon contributors for their contributions. These donations are going a long way and I greatly appreciate the help in the development, I hope to make sure I'm progressing at a level you are expecting!

I also want to breifly talk about our Discord community. Thanks to all that post there, it's a lot of fun for me to see you all on there. It's extremely motivating to chat about Persona with you guys, and I get a lot of ideas from you all while we go over different things about the game. I also want to shout out Kankiki who won our most recent prize poll. His name is now referenced in one of Marie's poems! Good job :D

Lastly, I want to talk a bit about the 0.6 updates coming up. As you may or may not be aware, the next girl is Rise. I'm exccited to get to her content, as I know some of you are as well!  I will first start with cahnging her Sprite model immidiately, she needs an updated look. Then I will be looking at creating her expressions for the interactions in the game. If you want to see this development as it goes, check out the Discord! I will be posting frequently on there.
